About

Why time-based astrology?

Every claim in astrology (a sign, a retrograde, an aspect) is a number crossing a line, and the number comes from somewhere real: where a planet actually was, seen from Earth, at a moment. This graph was designed to show every moment, strung together into a timeline, with the sky along one axis and time along the other, drawn from the same measurements astronomers use. The meaning is left where it belongs, with the reader. A moment on its own is a snapshot; here you can see where each planet was coming from and where it went next, and so the moment has a context.
